Whales By- George.
Learning Intention:Write a report.
Success Criteria:I am successful when I can write a report about whales.
Whales are mammals.They are warm blooded.
Whales feed milk to their babies. They are very big . Some whales are gray, some are blue,some are black and white. They have large mouth and sharp teeth.Some whales move with their flippers. Whales use their fluke or tails for swimming. They also use their tails to move around by moving up and down.
Whales lives in the ocean. The blue whales are the largest mammal.It is larger than any dinosaur.The biggest recorded blue whales was a female in the Antarctic ocean that was 30.5m (more then 3.5 times the length of a double-Decker bus and as long as a Boeing 737 planes) with an estimated weight of 144 towns (almost the same as 2,000 man.)
Most whales can live for 40 years and some special blue whales can live for over 100 years.

Grandma's.- By George.
Learning Intention- W.A.L.T.-Write a recount.
Success Criteria:I know I am successful when I write a recount about grandpas using capital letters and full stops correctly.
It happened 2 years ago in the holidays.My family and I went to to Tonga early in the morning of 4:00. We went to the airport and ride in the aeroplane. Finally we arrived at Tonga and I felt nervous. My grandpa pick us up, and I greeted him. He took our family to his house. When we got there I greeted my cousins, aunties, and grandma.
I played games with my cousin and brother outside. After we played we had dinner. We went to sleep early because it was my grandpas and aunties birthday the following day. The next day we got ready and we went to the place where my aunties and grandpas birthday were. When we arrive there it looked beautiful and clean.
I was thirsty so I drank Raro. We waited and waited until all the members of our family came. Together we sang happy birthday to grandpa and auntie.
Then we stand in front of everyone to perform our dance.While we were dancing everybody was cheering and clapping and I felt happy and it was fun.The funniest thing while dance was that our members gave money to us.Then we finish dancing.We collected all our moneys and gave it all to my auntie and my grandpa.
Later we changed into our normal clothes.Then we ate some cakes.It was very yummy.I had the best day ever.Later it became dark so we went back home.Finally we went to sleep for the next day.

Prayer- By George.
Learning Intention:We are learning to recognise Lent as a season for turning back to God through prayer.
Success Criteria:I know I am successful when I can write a simple prayer.
Thank you God for looking after my family. Help me in my schoolwork. Please help me to be kind and loving. Please give the people food, water, medicine and shelter.
