What should we do about the homeless

P: Homeless people feel sad for themselves because they don’t have any places to live in and also suffer with hunger.

E: If homeless people don’t have anything to do and eat they will suffer with coldness building up in there body and that could lead to death.

E: We should give homes to the homeless people because if we don’t then they will suffer and die which is why we a should also provide them food to eat and water to drink. It is very sad when you see homeless people laying down next to the shops, so we must give them at least some like money food and drink but if we don’t there health will be damaged and die, also it is important because we are basically looking after God’s people. Giving clothes and jackets ti them so they won't get too cold and that can lead to death.

Pigs- George.

Learning Intention: WALT..write a report about the life of a pigs.
Success Criteria:I know I am successful when I write a report about pigs.

Pigs are animals.Pigs body is covered with hair.

A baby pig or a piglet weight about 1.50 kilograms at birth and will double its weight in just 7 days.Pigs are great swimmers, but, they roll around the mud to cool their skin.Pigs have 4 toes in each hoof but only walk on two toes per foot.      

Pigs are intelligent animals.Like humans, pigs are omnivores, meaning they eat both plants and other animals.A pigs snout is important tool for finding food in the ground and sensing the world around them.Pigs have excellent sense of smell.There are around 2 billion pigs in the world.

People can use pigs as their pet.Wild pig are often hunted in the world.Pigs can learn quickly.They pick up tricks faster then dogs.Pigs are very social animals.

Bread.

W.A.L.T.- write a report.

Success Criteria: I know I am successful when I can write a report that describe what the topic is about, and use paragraphs for each new part of the topic.

Bread is important because is it a food we all eat.Bread is healthy because is has vitamins, protein, and sodium.They are good for you.Bread is made of milk, water and yeast.

We can use bread for making sandwiches and burgers.There are different kinds of bread.Brown bread, white bread and sometimes fruit bread.Bread can be bought from shops, markets, countdown and Pak n save. All around the world people eat bread.When I eat bread I feel great.

Bread is one of the yummiest food in the world.

Botanic Garden.

L.I.-W.A.L.T.-write a recount using describing words.

Success Criteria: I can do this when I can write a recount about Botanic garden using describing word.

Three weeks ago we went for a trip to Botanic Garden. At Botanic gardens I saw colourful flowers like roses, daisies and lilies.There were yellow,red,white and blue flowers.They were pretty and beautiful.They smells like perfume.

Next we went to see the veggies garden. I saw carrots,fejoias, and  lemon trees.Then we went to the next activity.When we got there we saw a house and the teacher.We sat down and played a puzzle.We tried to think how to match the puzzle.

After that Sarah showed us a tiger worm and gave one for each group.We used a magnifying glass to look closely at the tiger worms.I saw that the body of the worms is covered with very tiny fine hair. 

Finally, we had our lunch.Later on we went back to school.I really enjoyed the school trip.
