Queen’s Birthday Weekend

On the weekend I went to the swimming pool with my mum and my brother.  My brother’s name is Christian.  First we changed into our swimming togs at home.  Then we all walked to the swimming pools.  The pools are close to our home.  At the pool my brother and I had a long swim. 

The water was warm and it had a lot of chlorine in it.  The chlorine helps to keep the water clean.  There were lots of people at the pool so it was good to have some chlorine in the water.

I did a bomb dive and then I swam to the other side of the pool.  I made a big splash.  I used a flutter board.  Christian and I kept throwing it around and then swimming after it.  The first one to get the flutter board was Christian. He can swim faster than me.  Christian was swimming when I was still in my mum’s stomach, before I was born.  I almost bombed Christian but not quite.  I didn’t swim to the very end because the pool is very long.  I had a fantastic time swimming at the pools. 

Mother's Day

On Mother’s Day my mum, my brother and I went to the swimming pool.  At the swimming pool I bombed, dived and splashed with my mum and my brother.  The best thing I liked doing was bombing.  I made short splashes.  It was fun.

After that we went to the Sylvia Park shopping mall.  At the mall we went shopping.  We bought an Xbox 360, with games, at the Warehouse.  It was cool but I would really like to get an Xbox Live so that I could play online with my friends.

After that we went to McDonald’s and to KFC to get some food to eat and something to drink.  Some of the food was very expensive.  It was very busy in the food court.  We had a nice lunch and I was full.  My mum was happy.  We all had a good Mother’s Day.

Why is Saint Patrick's Day Important?

St. Patrick's Day is important because we celebrate the day when Patrick the bishop escaped from becoming a slave for 6 years. I can do fishing shamrock leaves in Room 4 and try to catch the words. Next we went to Room 6 and we did sponge painting on shamrocks with four different colors. In Room 8 we made a person in a stick. The leprechaun stick was used for book marking when we didn't finish a book.

Do we need to look after Panmure Stone Cottage?

We have to look after Panmure Stone Cottage because it is very old and it is over 100 years old. We have to look after Panmure Stone Cottage so that our own children will also enjoy it later. It is a historical place and it is the only stone cottage in Panmure. We have to look after Panmure Stone Cottage so we can have fun studying it.

Is Milk Important?

Milk is important because it makes me strong. It makes my bones strong. My teeth and my legs will be strong if I drink milk. It makes my body healthy.
